At Cast and Crew our aim is to unlock the potential of children through creativity, to develop confidence, to nurture growth and to offer performance opportunities. 


Cast and Crew has been developed by a group of passionate professionals intent on giving opportunities to young people to experience the joys of the performing arts.  All of our staff have a wealth of experience working with young people.

Our Staff

​

Drama teacher - Amy Lewis - Amy is an experienced secondary teacher with a degree in Performing Arts, Drama with Music.  Amy has previously taught English GCSE and  Drama GCSE and A level. She also taught KS3 Music, Drama and Art in mainstream secondary schools. Amy has led community youth Drama groups and has additional training in running Shakespeare Schools Festival projects. She is also qualified to offer Trinity Guildhall and LAMDA Drama tuition.


Dance teachers - Rebecca Algieri and Carys Coleman – hugely experienced in the dance industry including qualifications in ballet, freestyle, hip hop and salsa Rebecca and Carys have gained many titles during their competitive years; UKA Welsh champion, British freestyle champion, and World finalists. They have performed in, and helped choreograph, numerous shows in the area and have also taught in other dance schools around the county.  Both have lots of experience in teaching and mentoring young people.

Cast and Crew Minis
Monday 4.15-5.15pm

Cast and Crew Minis is for children aged between 3 and 6 years old. A chance for your a chance for everyone to shine, share and grow with singing, drama, games, fun storytelling and movement. 


Each term is based on a different theme, and children learn songs, stories and movements in an exciting, fun, safe environment. 


A fantastic way for your little performers to gain self-confidence, build their skills, make new friends and gain valuable speech and language awareness, as well as               having lots of fun along the way! 
 

Performance Classes
Monday 5.15-6.45pm

A multi-disciplinary class where pupils aged between 7 and 16 experience a mixture of dance, drama and singing in a fun and engaging workshop-style environment.
 
Students will be encouraged to experiment with their own creativity, to work collaboratively and explore their imagination, to become inquisitive thinkers and to grow as artists willing to persist to achieve their potential.


Each session will give pupils the opportunity to explore their imagination and will offer them the chance to develop a range of skills in acting, movement and music.  It’s a great way to make new friends, to build confidence and most importantly, to have fun!


Cast & Crew offers a broad performing arts education to all its pupils, and all are welcome regardless of experience or ability.
