Prep
We offer a robust education for children in Prep Years 3-6, also known as Key Stage 2, which provides a strong foundation for academic and personal success.
Key Stage 2
Key stage 2 has a more formal approach to school above the Foundation phase of Reception to Year 2 - but through offering a balanced approach with an emphasis on nurture is important in developing the 'Whole Child'.
Our approach is built around our belief that every child is unique and has their own individual strengths and talents. Our experienced and dedicated teachers provide a supportive and nurturing environment, which encourages our students to develop a love of learning and reach their full potential.
The Prep Curriculum
The school's academic programme is designed to challenge and inspire our students, with a strong focus on the core subjects of English, Mathematics, and Science. We also offer a broader range of subjects including Spanish, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, STEM and Physical education, which allow our students to explore their interests and develop new skills.
Pastoral Care
We are proud of our strong pastoral care system, which ensures that every child feels valued and supported throughout their time at Castle School. Our small class sizes allow us to provide a personalised approach to learning and give our students the individual attention they need to thrive.
Discovery School
At Castle School, we understand the importance of a well-rounded education and encourage our students to get involved in a range of extracurricular activities.
Our Outdoor programme - Discovery school, provides pupils with experiences of the real world - an opportunity to not only apply skills and knowledge learnt through their subject lessons, but also develop practical and social skills. These activities provide our students with the opportunity to develop their leadership skills, teamwork, and self-confidence, and get involved with the community.

Prep Campus
Castle School Pembrokeshire's Prep is situated at Glenover House, our beautiful campus, set in the heart of Pembrokeshire, provides the perfect setting for learning and growth.
Our facilities and grounds allow pupils to learn and play. We also utilise local amenities such as the swimming pool, sports centre and green spaces to ensure that our students have everything they need to succeed.
