6th Form
Curriculum
Our Sixth Form curriculum offers a diverse range of over 20 A-Level topics and a range of BTEC courses to suit the individual needs and interests of our students.
Our dedicated Sixth Form building is designed to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for students, with academic support staff on hand to assist in an open plan environment that prepares pupils for university.

A-Level courses offer a more in-depth and challenging approach to studying compared to GCSEs, allowing students to specialise in their chosen subjects and prepare for higher education.
Our A-Level courses cover a broad range of topics, from Mathematics and Sciences to Humanities and Languages, providing students with the opportunity to explore their interests and develop their skills in their chosen fields.

We also offer a range of BTEC courses, which provide practical, vocational training in subjects such as Business, Travel and Tourism and Health and Social Care. These courses are designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to pursue careers in their chosen fields, or to progress to higher education.

Our academic support staff are on hand to provide guidance and assistance to students throughout their studies, helping them to develop the skills they need to succeed academically and personally. In addition, we provide support for UCAS university applications, with staff available to guide students through the process and provide advice on the best courses and universities to suit their needs.

At Castle School, we believe that a strong education is the foundation for a successful future.
